Every year, Green Impact organises the Sustainability Skills and Education (SusSEd) series, a collection of engaging lunchtime talks open to all staff and students.
This is a great opportunity to learn about the fantastic work taking place across the University to enhance sustainability.
This year, the theme is ‘The Whole Truth about Consumption’ – we will be exploring the many forms of consumption in our daily lives and the environmental impact of these activities, including diet, plastics, travel, life cycle analysis, waste and agriculture. These sessions are designed to give you the knowledge and skills needed to bring about a more sustainable world – so whether you’re new to the idea of sustainability or are a keen environmentalist, there’s something for everyone across the programme.
This is also a great opportunity for students to enhance their CV’s, as HEAR accreditation is given for attending at least 5 of these sessions.
Talks will take place during selected lunchtimes from Tuesday 4th March – Tuesday 3rd March. For more information about the talks on offer and to get your tickets, visit here or get in touch at email@example.com.
